The Grant Lodge Trust

Grant Lodge Trust, GLT, was set-up as a corporate charitable body with the aim of taking on the responsibility for Grant Lodge from Moray Council.

It is a Company Limited by Guarantee with no share capital, and a Scottish Registered Charity.

The objectives of Grant Lodge Trust (GLT) are to preserve, conserve and develop Grant Lodge in Elgin and its immediate surroundings and also the advancement of education, arts, heritage, culture, science, sports and health.

The Moray Growth Deal

As part of Moray Growth Deal and the Cultural Quarter, Grant Lodge has the prospect of renovation and a new chapter in its long history in Elgin.

The proposals are in their early stages, however, the fact that architects Page\Park have been appointed and have brought together their ideas to design stage RIBA 2, means that there is a real prospect of this taking place.

Now we need the help of everyone who seeks to bring this building back to life in the heart of the community.

We need volunteers to help with meeting the council representatives and others who have invested into the project: tourism, hospitality, events, musicians, artists, funders. If you have proposals in your mind that you would like to see within the building then now is your opportunity to shape the regeneration.

Currently we have 6 stalwart members of the board… ideally we should have 12. Could you spare us your valuable time?
